What we do not understand, we truly do not see. J. Skuba presents how to help visitors see a Japanese garden through an eye expanded by aesthetic understanding of these timeless spaces.

 

J. Skuba has built all varieties of gardens since 1957. He holds a B.S. in Horticulture from the University of Illinois, a Masters of Fine Arts in Sculpting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and holds his Ph. D. in Philosophy of Japanese Garden Making from Columbia-Pacific University.  J. is the Principal of Zoen Sekkei-Sha & Associates in Lake Forest, IL, which provides garden and landscape design with a specialization in Japanese gardens.
